The Phased Array Assessment Block, also known as a Type B Block, is a general-purpose reference standard designed for beam characterization, system performance evaluation, and baseline calibration of phased array ultrasonic instruments.
Use this block to check long-term instrument performance, generate DAC curves, and evaluate linear and angular resolution, beam focusing, and beam steering capability. With its versatile target layout, it’s also an excellent demonstration piece for showcasing phased array ultrasonic testing capabilities to customers.
Standard Compliance: Manufactured according to ASTM E2491 and PH Tool Drawing No. 10235.
